A very nice environment, good accommodation, clean, very comfortable Great friendly hosts who gave a very nice welcome with olives, bread and fruits, super! We felt very welcome, but at the same time had enough privacy to feel comfortable with our family. Beautiful views and idyllic scenery in an olive garden. Great facilities close by for activity and rest and a pool in your backyard

Had a wonderful stay at Seabreeze in August/September. The villa was perfect for our family of four being set in an idyllic Olive grove with plenty for the children to do, views everywhere and a great pool. Simon and Idit were really welcoming and knowledgeable about the area which is beautiful. We really enjoyed our time in Methoni and the other local towns. Would heartily recommend and hope to return.

We've just had a perfect holiday at Seabreeze. The location was absolutely beautiful, and peaceful, with breathtaking views. The perfect place to chill out! 
The accommodation was lovely and exactly as we expected. It has a homely feel and is nicely decorated, clean, and kitted out with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Having the pool was an added bonus as well as the lovely beaches only a short walk away. We are definitely considering going back with friends next year!

We had a great week here in August. It's in the middle of an olive grove alive with cicadas (which you hear but very rarely actually see!). The house had everything we needed (incl gentle A/C and hammock) and the provisions provided for the first day were great.
Our 2 boys loved the pool, feeding the chickens, hammocks, the tree houses dotted about as well as stargazing from the roof terrace, snorkelling and eating as much as they could.. The owners gave us good advice to help us make the most of our week including local restaurant recommendations and directions to shady beaches, the best fruit and veg shop and a waterfall we could swim at.
It's a great location for exploring the area and being up the hill there is a nice breeze and great views. Methoni is a nice, friendly little town, and despite the venetian castle is less touristy than nearby Pylos and Finikounda. We would love to go back and would definately recommend Seabreeze villas.

A delightful villa in a secluded olive grove.

 

We have just arrived back home after a wonderful stay at Seabreeze Villa in Methoni. My wife and two two daughters (11 and 13) had a great time in the delightful villa. Flew into Athens - did a few days sightseeing and then hired a car and drove (4-5 hours on mostly good roads) down to Methoni. The villa is situated in an olive grove in the hills just above Methoni. A really great location - secluded and peaceful. The villa is simple but tastefully furnished and has all you'll need. Great gardens and pool. Methoni is a pleasant village and there are some good tavernas there and in the nearby villages (especially visit Elena Restaurant in Finicounda). Beautiful clean beaches nearby (our favourite at Horseshoe bay near Gialova). 
Simon, the owner, is a great guy and made us feel very welcome. Really looked after us and gave us some good eating and sightseeing tips. As well as supplying us with fresh eggs and delicious olives.

Idyllic Holiday Villa

 

Idyllic holiday villa located in stunning olive grove setting with sea views. The house itself was tastefully decorated, with ample room for our two boys and beautiful master bedroom for the parents - hooray! a real bed! Hammocks amongst the olive trees, banana lounges and outdoor table and chairs make for great al fresco dining, or simply relaxing in the afternoon sun. The pool was a perfect way to cool off after a day on the road. One of the best holiday houses we had the pleasure of staying in on our 6 week odyssey. Simon and Idit were fantastic hosts.

Staying in the olive groove

 

We loved staying in this villa in the olive groove. Wonderfull views, quietness, a well equipped house, and nice swimming pool. The owners are very friendly and gave us a warm welcom and staying in this part of Peloponnese. There was information of places to visit, restaurants, attractions, witch we did and enjoyed. We also visited Olympia and Mistras, impressive! 

Staying in this part of Greece we would recommend to our friends. A place to relax, calm down and leave the stress at home. Not that crowded and original greek villages. I can not describe some views I have seen, so beautiful! 

It was a warm experience.

Idyllic Holiday

Simon and Idit thank you, it was idyllic and I am delighted to relive the memories. 

Walk around the calm tracks around the olive groves behind the house, picnic under the shady terrace beside the little church, watching hawks circle. 

Again on foot, finding the quiet way to walk down to the beach and into town - but a note for other visitors that as the house is on top of a hill, a friend or taxi is preferable to get back. 

Exploring the vast Methoni castle, and on up to the 'sunset walk' around the edge of town, then coming back along the high street, where people sit outside their shops and say hello. 

The circle of restaurants around the plaza by the beach - a lovely combo for restless children to make new friends and play. 

And the house was lovely and clean, cocktails on the roof terrace watching shooting stars, swimming pool, hammock, Simon and Idit warmly provided information, anything else we needed, and delicious breakfasts on request. Helen, Alex and Rosie - UK

We had a lovely time in the villa. Quiet, peaceful, beautifully equipped - even down to a tree frog on the veranda! Lovely pool - all to ourselves as it happened. 

We availed of the wonderful breakfast a few days and looked after 

ourselves the others. Plenty of information about the local 

sights and restaurants, with great recommendations. Methoni is 

a very interesting place to visit as are the other towns around. You will need a car as the villa is out of the town - but that 

gives you all the peace of the countryside when you are home. 

We had teenagers and a six year old and everyone was happy.

We stayed in the Seabreeze Villa for a week in early July. The weather could not have been better. The Villa was perfect for our family of four. The pool is delightful and has a stunning view to the sea. We used it mainly in the mornings and evenings. During the day, we enjoyed the spectacular local beaches.

 Our hosts, who live in a separate house on the property, were helpful, friendly, 

but unobtrusive. We highly recommend this Villa.

Very friendly owner family and peaceful location. Lots 

of beautiful beaches suitable for small kids nearby. Car is essential. Good apartment with all we needed for cooking, 

sleeping etc. Pool area was very nice and clean. Dining area 

outside the apartment was very nice and provided shade. We 

ate always outside and enjoyed a lot surrounding well-cared 

garden, privacy and view to olive trees and sea. Thank you very much for the little extras!

 

 

Great place - chill out and watch the world go by

The perfect place if you want to 'get away from it all' - quiet and relaxing with excellent accommodation (spotless) and secluded pool with wonderful views of coastline. Ideal spot for sightseeing - lovely local fishing villages i.e. Methoni (recommend Cafe Ostria in square) and Finikounda (restaurant Eleni) - only 10 minutes by car. Plus loads of interesting history in the surrounding area. You will love sitting with a coffee or cold drink in one of the bars looking out to sea - watching the world go by! Words cannot describe the laid back pace of life in this unspoilt part of Greece. Owners always on hand to give friendly advice and help with local knowledge. We would recommend to friends and will definitely go back again, and again!

We had a fabulous 2 weeks at Sea Breeze Villas in September. My partner loved the nearby beaches, while I worked in peace in the wonderful olive groves on a writing project. The property proved to be a great base for visiting all the sites of interest of the Western Peloponnese, and the hosts Simon and Idit could not have been more helpful or sweet. Thoroughly recommend!

We stayed in the apartment, which is situated in the lower rooms of the main family house. this is very private with its own entrance, converted so they have their own private outside area (patio) and steps down to the lovely pool. The two rooms and bathroom are spacious and quite sufficient for our family of 4 (including two teenage boys) and the self-catering facilities quite adequate for cooking simple meals which will always include an abundance of fresh ingredients when in Greece. We were given some lovely home-grown and home-prepared produce by our friendly hosts who were always happy to help or chat but who were never conspicuous or in the way even though they live on site. It was particularly nice to be staying on an organic small-holding. The beach is close by as are plenty of other attractions. There is also beautiful landscape and an abundance of wildlife. I look forward to our next visit and would recommend to anyone.

The perfect location to relax

 

Villa Gaia is a great place to relax and forget the world around you. The house is very clean, well equiped and offers an exciting view from the terrace over the olive trees on mountains and sea.  The pool is nice and chilling and was the main place to stay for our teenaged kids. Night bathing in the illuminated pool is only one of Simon's special offers. The distance to the beach felt a littel longer than 800 m but it is a nice walk through olive groves away from the street. Methoni has a nice flair and a good choice of tavernas and grocer's shops. You don't neccessarily need a car if you like walking or just take a taxi from time to time for the way uphill. We visited the ancient sites of Olymipa and Messene, the beautiful Voidokilia Bay and the waterfalls near Kazarma (our favourite). All sites are well accesible by car. Simon and Idit offer any support you need. We felt really at home at their property and would definitely recommend it to friends.

Idyllic stay

 

The property was exactly as stated in the advertisement. The location necessitated our own transport - but this would have been vital in any case to explore the region. The facilities were useful - especially the pool!  The apartment was well-maintained and clean. Simon and Eadie were most friendly and helpful and their recommendations on the locality and the region helped us have a memorable stay.  We liked the town of Methoni for its restaurants and its genuine Greek ambience. Day-trips to waterfalls and archeological sites were also very enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in recommending the apartment to friends and family. Thank you, Simon, for a lovely stay.

Wonderful week

 

We had a wonderful week in apartment Shani. A perfect holiday. It has all you need to be extremely comfortable and so much more that we found it difficult to stir ourselves from the views and lovely pool to explore the local area. There's plenty to do and see around and about and people are very friendly in the villages and towns. It really deserves a far longer visit.  Our hosts were very knowledgeable, friendly and great company when we sought them out but totally non-intrusive. They cooked us a wonderful meal which we would highly recommend. We were encouraged to enjoy the fruit on the trees and can also recommend the homemade olive oil. This place was a treasure of a find and we would love to return one day.

One of the most relaxing and romantic places to be

My family and I were looking for a real Greece experience without the brouhaha of the over traveled and overated islands. We found it at Eleonas Villas, near Methoni. From the quiet morning breakfasts in the romantic villages, through the wonderful Destino beaches, to old crusader fortresses and unbelievable vistas from the top to the hills, to the modest and wonderful dinners in fish restaurants longing the beach, it was a wonderful dream - like "living in an astonishing postcard" our children commented. The accommodations were great, conveniently situated, in the midst of an olive tree grove, and near the most refreshing swimming pool, the one thing one wants after returning from the beach. It beats the value to prices ratio anywhere we have been at recently. There are no words to describe the attention, service and care of the owners. Just go there, you will discover it for yourself.

Charming house in a lovely natural setting

 

We arrived late Saturday evening to find a house full of provisions for our breakfast , candle burnning and a welcoming cosy atmosphere. The villa is in a wonderfull setting in the olive grove. Our three kids enjoyed the natural garden to run and play in , the tree houses the hammocks around and the hen house . The swimming pool is set in a safe distance from the house to make the best of the lovely open view. 

methoni and the surrounding area has beautiful beaches to offer, charming vilages, architctual site, but we mostly stayed in to relax and enjoy our selves around the pool. 

All in all we had a lovely time, Simon and Idi were helpful and delt swiftly with any inquiries we have had.
